The Geology Trail is a scenic 1/3 -mile trail that offers beautiful views of the Vasquez Rocks Natural Area. The trail can be experienced as an out-and-back trail or as a connection to the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT), the Homestead Trail, or P2 parking lot.

Along the trail, interpretive signs provide information about the geologic history of the region. Take this trail to learn about the types of sedimentary layers, sandstone cycle, and why the rocks in this park have diverse colors.
