Nicholas Meadow Trail is an excellent connector trail for loop hikes in Nicholas Flat. The single track trail climbs down from Nicholas Ridge Trail and skirts the northern edge of an open meadow before reaching the intersection with Nicholas Flat Trail and Nicholas Pond Trail. The open, high-grass meadow sits below ridgeline and creating a bowl-like setting with views up to oaks up on the hillside.

The trail can be accessed from Decker School Road via Nicholas Flat Trail. From the PCH, head east on Decker Road. After 2.4 miles, make a slight left onto Decker School Road. Continue on the road around a series of turns until the end. There is one ADA parking space at trailhead and limited street parking.
