Native Oak Trail is a 2.15 mile trail in the hills above the community of Hacienda Heights. The entirety of this trail is relatively narrow and traverses hillsides that are largely covered by oak trees which provide ample shade. There are, however, several points on the trail within low-growing chaparral that allow for expansive views of the surrounding valleys and mountains. The trail is accessed from either the Ahwingna Trail or the Scharabum-Skyline Trail.
