Located in Triunfo Creek Park near Westlake, this trail passes through oak woodland, native grasslands, and wildflower meadows in the spring. Between April and June, look for the yellow, daisy-like flower, Pentachaeta lyonii, a federally listed endangered flower and namesake of the trail. The trail climbs up along a north-facing slope overlooking Potrero Valley Creek and Westlake Village.

The main trailhead with kiosk is on Triunfo Canyon Road east of the southern terminus of Lindero Canyon Road. Parallel street parking only.
