The Morrison Ranch Trail is a unpaved service road beginning at Las Virgenes Road and heading up to Cheeseboro Ridge. Traverse oak savanna and a nice walnut woodland getting to the ridge. From the ridge, enjoy views into Cheeseboro Canyon. Make a 5-mile loop of your outing by continuing north, and then heading east on the SCE service road back to Las Virgenes Canyon, finishing up with a sidewalk hike back to the trail beginning point.

From US-101, exit at Las Virgenes Rd. and head north. After approx. 1 mile, do a U-turn at Thousand Oaks Blvd. Travel south approx. 0.15 mi. to the Morrison Ranch Trail service road intersection with Las Virgenes Rd. Parallel street parking only. The trail can be accessed from the west via Canyon View Trail in Cheeseboro Canyon.
