This popular trail in Topanga State Park passes through grassland meadows and low chaparral. The dirt trail is well maintained and can easily be turned into a loop utilizing Eagle Springs Fire Road. Continue along on Eagle Rock Fire Road at the northern end of the trail to reach Eagle Rock, a picturesque sandstone outcropping with views in all directions.

The trail can be accessed from the Trippet Ranch staging area. From the PCH, travel north on Topanga Canyon Blvd. Turn right on Entrada Rd. Keep to the left until you reach the park’s main parking lot (about 1 mile). From the 101, exit at Topanga Canyon Blvd, drive south over the crest of the mountains and proceed 3 miles to Entrada Rd and turn left into the park’s main parking lot.
