Looking for new ways to explore nature?  Many LA County Natural Areas now provide visitors with the option to engage in special “missions” via a mobile app called Agents of Discovery – a free augmented reality mobile game, that allows users to learn about history, culture, and nature at parks across our state! These missions are geared towards K-12 students and are designed to get users moving and engaged while discovering the world around them!  Missions consist of games and scavenger hunts, with maps and a Field Agent to guide you.

To play the game, download the app from App Store or Google Play. Before heading out to the parks download the mission you want to play. Once these have been downloaded, the app does not require any data or WiFi to run while you’re at the park.
