Backbone Trail Work

Backbone Trail Work- Will Rogers State Park

CORBA, the Concerned Off-Road Bicyclists Association

Saturday, December 14, 2019
8:30 AM to 2:30 PM

Join CORBA, Girlz Gone Riding (GGR) and the Santa Monica Mountains Trails Council as we head to the the east end of the Backbone Trail at Will Rogers State Historic Park.

We will be doing general cleanup - mostly cutting back overgrowing brush with the goal of reaching the Lone Oak tree.

After the trailwork is finished CORBA will treat you to lunch. Be sure to bring some snacks with you because trailwork doesn't end until early afternoon.

No experience is necessary to help out with trailwork. Tools and instructions on how to use them safely and effectively will be provided.

Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and must be over 7-years old to attend, and children under 14 must be constantly and directly supervised by their parent or guardian who brought them. Please leave your 4-legged children at home!

Be sure to wear protective clothing (sturdy shoes, long pants and sleeves, hat, gloves) and bring snacks, sunscreen and water. CORBA will provide the tools and training.

CORBA's thank-you lunch will be after trailwork ends at 2:30 pm, so bring some snacks to tide you over.

Directions: Meet in the first parking lot of Will Rogers State Historic Park.
